Norway in a Nutshell

Here are some photos from our Norway in a Nutshell trip. We took 3 trains, boat and bus in 17 hours to make it to a Fjord and back to Oslo in one day. The first image was taken at the highest point on the train (I believe it is the highest point for a train in Norway). This trip was in the middle of June and you can see how much snow was still there! Quite a beautiful landscape


This is one of the waterfalls that we stopped at. We were on a smaller train that zigzags down a steep valley (the photo below shows us looking up at where we came from.




This is where we ended up (this town is Flom) and it is at the head of the fjord. (Next post will have photos from the fjord itself.)
