Going Glassin'

We are finally mostly settled in - financial stuff mostly in order (at least we now have a bank account with some money in it!!!). We have access to the National Health System here and so yesterday we had to pick a GP. True to form no one offered to suggest their doctor so we picked one based on no real info, but that is fine. Just amusing.

It is the 4th of July and we are going to have a picnic and grill some sausages in the park this evening. Can't really do fireworks (didn't find any) since it doesn't really get dark. It is hot for here - in the 80's and dry. Lovely, but I don't expect it to last. I do kind of like the variability of the weather - at least for the summer. The winter may not seem quite as variable. We'll see.

I am leaving on Sunday for a week to take a glass course. It is being given at a glass school on a small island off the western coast of Norway. It is about a 9 hour drive from here and I am excited to see more of he countryside. Just reminded me that I need to take the camera!

Whooppeeee! See you all later!
